Best Internet Option for RVs?

I'm curious what those of you that spend a lot of time on the road in your RV prefer for your internet service? Mobile wireless (through cell phone providers) Satellite (like HughesNet) or just getting online when you're near a Wi-Fi hot spot. Please share your experiences here.

Obviously, the idea of FREE wi-fi appeals to me. In fact, most of the campgrounds I've been to lately offer it at no additional cost, but I'm not a full timer. The problem is, the signal can be weak, depending at your proximity to the Internet router unit.
